Seattle Athletic Club - Seattle, WA

We've been using the x trainer at our health club for just a short time and already we use it for more types of clients than we ever imagined. We had first intended it for use primarily as a recumbent bike but once our trainers became familiar with it’s capabilities it quickly became an integral tool for personal training. Our personal trainers have their clients perform a lot of circuit work where they ride the bike and utilize dumbbells to increase the heart rate through the working of the upper body. Now we can scrap the dumbbells and simply use the arms of the x trainer. In the past we would have to switch out heavier or lighter dumbbells depending on what exercise we would be doing but now the intensity can be changed at the push of a button right on the handles!! And the fact that we can work the lower body at a different level than the upper body is perfect. This is a must for us and the x trainer answers the call. So all in all the trainers love it. Clients and members are getting a challenging total body workout from a piece of equipment that traditionally had only addressed the lower body.

The set up is simple enough that our special populations group at the club has no trouble getting started in using the piece. The start up is self-explanatory and walks you through without a lot of confusion. Low intensity settings are easy enough for low level users and the high intensity settings are challenging enough for top end athletes.
So with that being said we really love the x trainer and it has become a valuable piece of equipment at the club!!
