A SportsArt treadmill saved my life.

I am a Vietnam veteran who has endeavored for 30 years to assist veterans though my organization, Veterans Foundation Incorporated (VFI). My crowning achievement has been the annual production of a star-studded awards show to honor America’s past, present and future military. Unfortunately the show was forced into an extended hiatus when I was stricken with two near-fatal heart attacks in late 2003. The exceptional care of the VA medical facilities was able to prevent my death. But it was SportsArt that kept me alive.

Over the years of the show’s production, I have employed a good number of veterans in a variety of capacities. Many of these men and women, like myself, were Vietnam veterans. My staff and I found that the camaraderie of the producing kept many of them close by the office and was decided to provide them and area to utilize health and fitness equipment. SportsArt was gracious enough to donate a 3110 treadmill.

After my heart attacks, I began to use this equipment. I undertook a radical overhaul of my lifestyle, changing my diet, sleep and exercise habits. I began to use the SportsArt treadmill regularly upon my doctor’s strict orders. What began as a way to provide health benefits and a diversion for our employees had turned into a vital part of my new lifestyle and rehabilitation.

After just a few sessions on the treadmill, I realized that it would radically alter how I exercised. Its ease of use, ergonomics, and durability has been one of the greatest components in restoring my health, improving my vitality and keeping me alive.

Since then, I have had a pacemaker installed in my chest and I continue to struggles with my health. However, I never miss my daily treadmill workouts. That is simply because I enjoy using SportsArt’s equipment so much.

It is my daily regimen that has consistently allowed me to overcome any health obstacles that occur.
